Biography
Sid Gale, CPA, CIA, MBA, conducts a consulting practice under the name Integrated Management Controls,LLC. His focus is on management strategy, management controls and project management. He has experience in a wide variety of industries, and has been actively engaged in public issues at the local regional and state levels in Connecticut, where sustainable economic growth and transportation have been among his key areas of interest.
He has become increasingly involved over the past three years in issues relating to Climate Change and Constrained Energy, approaching them from the perspectives of economic impacts, adequacy of information for management and civic decision-making, and organizational capacity to effectively address the issues.
Sid begins this blog with the hope that its postings will be of interest to citizens of various backgrounds who share a common concern about how our society manages its affairs. He intends to pose more questions than answers, but hopes the reader will find in their consideration the motivation to become more involved.
